What is a Sample Sale?

Our Sample Sale features a curated selection of archival Strathberry pieces from previous collections, alongside a limited number of rare sample designs.

Many items come from our archive and may include past season silhouettes or colourways that are no longer in production. Some pieces may have been used for press or display purposes and could show minor signs of wear or small imperfections. These have been carefully considered and reflected in the price.

While a small number of unique sample pieces may occasionally be available, the majority of the selection consists of archival styles from previous collections.

Certain icon styles may be offered in limited quantities. Please note that current season silhouettes and colourways are not included in the Sample Sale.

Will I be able to view all items on my Wishlist at Sample Sale?

All stock is subject to availability and is only confirmed at the time of your visit. As a result, we cannot guarantee all Wishlist items will be included in the Sample Sale.

Can I shop without an appointment?

Virtual Appointments
Due to limited stock availability and team capacity, appointment slots are limited and additional availability is rarely released. We kindly ask that you visit within your allocated timeslot, as we’re unable to extend or reschedule and you will therefore lose the appointment.

Edinburgh In-Person Sample Sale
Clients are welcome to attend without an appointment and will be admitted on a first come, first served basis, subject to showroom capacity.

During busy periods, guests may be asked to join a queue while capacity inside the space is managed. At peak times, the wait may be up to two hours.

London In-Person Appointments
Due to limited stock availability and team capacity, appointment slots are limited and additional availability is rarely released. We kindly ask that you visit within your allocated timeslot, as we’re unable to extend or reschedule and you will therefore lose the appointment.

Will the Sample Sale selection change throughout the event?

No, items will not be replenished or replaced during the Sample Sale. All available styles and colours will be on display from the start of the event and will operate on a first come, first served basis.

I am a Strathberry Insider, will I receive points for my Sample Sale purchase?

Sample Sale purchases are not eligible to earn Insider points.

Can I exchange/refund an item I bought at a sample sale?

All Sample Sale purchases are final and cannot be exchanged or returned. Please note, Sample Sale items are sold as seen, and are not eligible for warranty coverage or repairs.

Can I use gift cards or any other discount codes during the Sample Sale?

Unfortunately, gift cards and discount codes cannot be applied to Sample Sale items, as items are already heavily reduced. We recommend saving them for the new collection.

Can you put Sample Sale items on hold?

Due to high demand, we’re unable to hold Sample Sale items. All pieces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and once sold out, they will not be restocked. As a result, we cannot confirm which styles or colourways will be available ahead of your visit or virtual appointment.

Do all purchases come with a dust bag?

Due to limited availability, we’re unable to provide a dust bag or any alternative packaging, with Sample Sale purchases. However, a limited number will be available for purchase on a first come, first served basis.
